Project Value: £36,000,000.00 – Completed

 

_BCC were part of the design team to win the international competition for this incredibly innovatively designed project.

 

The concept was to have six self contained buildings without a main building - the concept of a street within a building. Also an inspiring chamber cantilevered off the building. The building also has a secondary skin 1 meter off the facade which provides incredible environmental enhancement. The building was located on an undulating sloping site in Wexford.

 

_BCC carried out all pre-contract works & cost plans – then partnered with Dublin based Quantity Surveyors, MDP, to provide post contract services.

 

Despite the numerous options and resizing of the building at pre-contract stage, the tender returned bang on the _BCC cost plan of £36 million.
