EASDALE ISLAND COMMUNITY PROJECT

Location: Easdale Island

The Easdale Island Project involved the refurbishment and extension of stone / timber community hall formed in slate, stone and an upturned ship’s mast. This was a complicated, twisted glazed extension with curved lead roof. Further complicated by boat only access to the island and no transport on the island. The design team had to work closely with the community to ensure the end building was to their exact requirements.

The project was completed in budget and on time.
